Renewable energy is described as "Capable of being replaced by natural ecological cycles or sound management procedures".
Renewable energy systems may be building integrated or stand-alone generation systems delivering energy to the "Grid" or community distribution system. Supply side and demand side strategies can be implemented individually or in combination. For instance, photovoltaics and solar collectors for water heating may be integrated to provide on-site electricity generation and pre-heating for the domestic water.
- Solar thermal - water heating
- Solar thermal - air heating
- Photovoltaic power
- Wind power generation
- Small & micro hydro power generation
- Geo-exchange - Ground source heat pumps
- Biomass combustion of renewable stock material
Our renewable energy portfolio is the result of design & implementation of RE systems for our clients and personal/corporate investments. Our commitment to sustainable development has been put into action with our company's and personal investments in renewable energy. We have ownership in photovoltaic and solar thermal systems currently in operation.
To provide a working model for our clients to observe, we are developing a Renewable Energy Laboratory facility at our office. This lab will demonstrate photovoltaics, solar thermal and geo-exchange. Look for updates at this site for announcements on our new facilities.
